The Rocking M Ranch is located on the Western border of Idaho and is situated midway on the Brownlee Reservoir which is the Snake River that has been dammed up and is approximately 57 miles long and approximately 1/2 mile wide in most places. The main ranch is in one main block on the Idaho side of the Brownlee Reservoir. It is accessible by a year round county maintained gravel road that is about 30 miles to the ranch headquarters and Lodge, or off of Highway 95 through the Payette National Forest via the Fourth of July Road near Mann's Creek, or from the Oregon side of the Reservoir from Interstate 84 about 22 miles from the town of Huntington, Oregon.
